About Dee’s Work
Professional Airbrush Makeup Artist
In 2003, I began working in the beauty industry as Manager of three Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios. While there, I specialized in bridal and special occasion makeup. I joined the Bella Faccia LLC team in 2011, where I was specially trained in airbrush makeup application. While working for Merle Norman and Bella Faccia, my work was published in Augusta Magazine, Columbia County Magazine, Augusta Brides, and Occasions Magazine. I also worked as a makeup artist on-set for Dateline NBC.
I truly enjoyed my work and wanted to continue my passion for makeup artistry when I moved from Augusta, Georgia, to Nassau County, FL. In 2021, with over 15 years of experience, I opened Decorated Seahorse Artistry to provide on-location professional airbrush makeup for Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, The Beaches, St. Augustine, and Florida’s First Coast up to South Georgia.

Airbrush Makeup Application
Why should you choose airbrush makeup for your special day? The airbrush system creates a ultra-fine mist that causes the foundation to absorb directly into your skin, versus sitting on top of it, giving you a more even and flawless look. It also performs better than regular makeup because it is more water resistant. So, your makeup will last through all of the happy tears, hugs, dancing and the Florida humidity.

With over 15 years of experience, in the beauty industry, Dee will create a flawless makeup look to enhance your beautiful features. She knows which products work best with flash photography. Every product used is personally tested for color payoff, definition, and to ensure that flashback is not created by the camera. What is flashback? Flashback in makeup is when your face appears iridescent in photos but not in person.
Lashes & Lash Application
We use quality lashes and individual lashes that are appropriate for anyone’s style. Whether you are a bride, going to prom, taking family photos, or are the Mother of the Groom we have many different natural and dramatic styles on-hand to enhance your look.
