Creating a flawless makeup look that matches your style, wedding dress, or outfit for family photos is so important to us. From soft and romantic to red carpet glam, we want our clients to look beautiful and feel confident on their special day.
Decorated Seahorse Artistry was founded by Dee, who has been working in the beauty industry since 2003. She has specialized in bridal and special occasion makeup for over fifteen years.
Dee’s work is well recognized and published in Augusta Magazine, Columbia County Magazine, Augusta Brides, and Occasions Magazine. She has also worked as a makeup artist on-set for Dateline NBC. In 2021, she opened Decorated Seahorse Artistry to provide on-location professional airbrush makeup for Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, The Beaches, St. Augustine, and all of Florida’s First Coast up to South Georgia. Dee specializes in professional airbrush makeup for brides, bridal portraits, seniors, maternity photos, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride/groom.
She knows which products look best on camera and last all day.

Temptu Pro, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Makeup by Mario, Dior, NARS, Morphe, Smashbox, MAC Cosmetics are just a few brands used for bridal portraits, senior sessions and, engagement makeup, weddings, etc. Every product used in Dee’s professional makeup artist kit is personally tested for color payoff and durability to ensure that the camera does not create a flashback.
She always travels with more makeup brushes than she needs, as well. Each one of us has unique features. That said, the same blush brush or eyeshadow brush will produce different results for everyone. Multiple-sized brushes from other brands with both natural and synthetic bristles are essential to have on hand to achieve the makeup look desired for each client.
